Planned Absences Policy
At Anima, we understand there may occasionally be times when your child cannot attend their usual gymnastics class due to illness, holidays, or family events.
As a courtesy, we offer a Planned Absence option, allowing you to book a replacement class on an alternative day or time, subject to our availability.
Please note:
- It is your responsibility to book and attend the replacement class within 8 weeks from the date your planned absence was submitted.
- Replacement classes depend strictly on availability and are not guaranteed.
- Planned absences do not qualify for refunds, credits, or deductions from your fees.
- If you are unable to attend your regular class or schedule a suitable replacement class within the provided timeframe, the class will be forfeited.
This policy helps us ensure fairness to all families, maintain class quality, and manage our sessions effectively.

Bank Holidays
We will be closed on Monday 5th May and Monday 26th May for the Bank Holidays.
- If you book in 12-block bookings, your credit for these sessions will automatically roll over to the following week.
- For those who pay by Direct Debit, your fees will be adjusted automatically — you won’t need to do anything.
Assessment Weeks
Assessment weeks will take place from:
- Monday 28th April – Sunday 4th May
- Monday 19th May – Sunday 25th May
We are excited to announce that you can now access your child’s assessment results directly through your HomePortal on our new booking system here!
Wanting to know if your child is ready to move up a level?
When your child is ready, our booking system will automatically send you an invitation.
Please note: Assessments do not apply to the following classes:
- Toddlers Advanced
- Pre-School
- Reception
Anima Summer Competition
We are thrilled to announce that we will be running a Floor and Vault Summer Competition!
Date: Sunday 22nd June
Time: To be confirmed once the entry deadline has passed.
Age Requirement: School Years 1 to Year 11
Level Requirement: All abilities – Beginners, Novice, Intermediate or Advanced!
Gymnast Entry Fee: £40 (includes an Event T-shirt!)
Spectator Fee: £5 per person, under 5s are free!
Entries will open from Sunday 4th May at 6pm.
British Gymnastics Membership
Just a reminder that all participants attending classes with us (except for Toddlers Play) must be registered with British Gymnastics under the Community Membership type.
