New classes
We have introduced new classes and adjusted others, commencing this term.
New classes are as follows:
- Young adults 11-16yrs class
- Gym Fit Adult class
- Floor and vault squad
Classes we have changed:
- 7-12yrs Beginner/Intermediate classes are now 7-11yrs
- Sunday 12:30-2pm Intermediate class time has now changed to 1:30pm-3pm
Membership
As membership expires 30th September, we will be requesting payment from the 3rd September, payment for the new membership cycle will need to be made no later than the 16th September.
We have set this deadline, to allow time for processing everything and sorting any issues that may arise.
Without membership your child can not take part in our classes.
Please make sure you have also completed your British Gymnastics Membership. This needs to be renewed every year, via the British Gymnastics website. This can be done any time after Tuesday 3rd September.
Leotard
If you are interested in the club leotard, but are not sure about the size, we have sample sizes available, before you order them from the zone website.
New equipment at Anima
We have some new equipment, arriving end of September:
British Gymnastics Core Proficiency Awards
We will be working on assessing everyone for the awards throughout the Autumn term, if achieved they will get their certificate and badge towards the end of term.
The Core Proficiency Awards Scheme is built around 10 different types of activities – such as Strength, Jumping, Rolling and Balancing – with 8 levels of attainment.
Holiday camp
We will be running holiday camp during the October half term on Monday 21st October, from 10am-2pm. This will be £30 for the day.
Depending on the numbers, we may add additional days.
Please bring along lunch and water, for the day.
Anima Winter Challenge Competition
We will be holding Anima Winter Challenge Competition on Sunday 1st December, save the date!
We will be opening entry from October.
Competition entry will be £10 per gymnast and spectator fee of £2.50pp.
