I would like to start by saying thank you to everyone who has joined and supported us this year! It means the world to us and we are thrilled to have been able to offer gymnastics classes to so many of you. We hope we can carry on to offer a standard of gymnastics that you are all happy with!
New Classes
We are expanding the classes we already have in place so more days and times are available, as well as introducing 2 brand new classes – Young Adults (11-16 yrs old) and a Gym Fit Adults (16yrs+).
Young Adults – This class will run similar to the current classes already available but more targeted towards the older children as we understand some children can be put off being in a class with children a lot younger than them.
Gym Fit Adults – This class will be a fitness class where the focus of it will be to help improve mobility, agility, strength, flexibility, spacial awareness and much more! It is a structured class to help you to get fit and learn how to move better and some gymnastics at the same time!

Changes coming.
We are happy that we have been able to expand and improve the equipment that we have and would like to carry on doing so. As well as expanding gymnastics classes over a wider variety of age groups, as well as days. To make this possible we will have to increase the prices of our classes, to meet the demand of running the classes, improving our services and equipment as well as keeping up with all the work outside of the classes! At the moment it works out to be £9 per hour of gymnastics, this is increasing to £9.50 per hour of gymnastics and the Annual Membership will be increasing from £25 for the year to £30 for the year. We hope you can understand our reasons for increasing the prices and hope it doesn’t cause too much inconvenience.
We are changing our “Beginners 7-12yrs” and “Intermediate 7-12yrs” to “Beginners 7-11yrs” and “Intermediate 7-11yrs”, respectively.
We are also moving our “Sunday Intermediate 7-11yrs” class from 12:30-2:00pm to 1:30-3:00pm, we apologies for this and hope this doesn’t cause too much headache!
Club uniform
We introduced the Anima T-Shirts earlier on in the year, now we are introducing leotards as well, this can all me found on our classes and membership page where we have added pictures of them both and how you get your hands on them!
Competition
To celebrate and say thank you for our first year of being open, we are having a Facebook/Instagram competition where you can get in with the chance to win a years worth of gymnastics lessons for free! All you have to do is head over to our facebook/instagram (@animagymnastics) and find the competition post and have to like our page, share the post and tag 3 friends!
What will the Autumn Term bring
In the Autumn term we will be running the British Gymnastics Core proficiency Awards assessments, if your child successfully completes this assessment they will be awarded a badge and certificate as proof of their achievement!
Towards the end of the Autumn Term we are looking into organising a competition for all the hard working gymnasts we have at Anima Gymnastics Club! This will be on a Sunday, therefore one of the Sunday classes will have to be cancelled, as this is the case when booking the term, if you are booking a class on our Sunday the price will reflect this and have 1 less session, sorry for any inconvenience.
