☀️ Classes Continue Throughout the Summer Holidays
A reminder that Anima Gymnastics runs all year round, including throughout the summer holidays.
Unlike many activities that stop during school breaks, your regular gymnastics classes will continue as normal.
If your child is going away on holiday, please read the information below carefully.
✈️ Going Away This Summer?
We understand that many families travel during the holidays, which is why we operate our Planned Absence system.
This allows you to keep your child’s place while ensuring you don’t lose the value of sessions you’ve already paid for.
📅 12-Block Booking Members
If your child will miss classes over the summer:
Continue topping up your booking when required to keep your child’s place.
Submit a Planned Absence Form at least 7 days before any sessions they will miss.
You can include multiple absence dates on a single form.
Once processed:
✅ Missed sessions become account credits.
✅ Credits remain safely on your account.
✅ Credits are automatically deducted from your next block booking top-up during checkout.
Alternatively, you may request replacement classes within 8 weeks of the planned absence date,
subject to availability.
Please remember: Your booking continues counting down while you’re away!
If you’re absent for several weeks, you may still need to top up your booking to keep your child’s place secure.
Any planned absence credits will remain on your account and automatically reduce the cost of future bookings.
💳 Monthly Direct Debit Members
If you pay by Direct Debit:
Your payments continue automatically as normal.
Please still complete a Planned Absence Form for any sessions your child will miss.
Direct Debit members do not receive account credit for missed sessions.
Instead, approved planned absences allow you to request replacement classes, which must be used within 8 weeks of the planned absence date (subject to availability).

Please remember that if you choose not to top up your block booking or cancel your Direct Debit,
we cannot hold your child’s space, and it may be offered to another family.
You would then need to re-book through our website when you’re ready to return.

👗 Leotard & Water Bottle Reminder
A gentle reminder that it is compulsory for all girls attending our Reception through to Development classes to wear a leotard.
Children are welcome to wear a fitted top, shorts or leggings over their leotard if they prefer.
Please also ensure your child brings a water bottle to every session, with enough water to last for the full class.
Unfortunately, we are unable to refill water bottles during sessions.
🤸 British Gymnastics Membership
Every child attending classes must hold a valid British Gymnastics Membership, which is renewed each September.
New starters should register under the Community Membership category.
🔗 Register or renew your child’s British Gymnastics Membership here.
Please note:
British Gymnastics membership is mandatory.
As the national governing body we are registered with, membership provides essential insurance cover whilst participating in classes and helps ensure that we continue to meet safeguarding, welfare and coaching standards.
