due to the London Community competition event.
Payment Adjustments
12-Week Block Booking Members
Your class credit will automatically roll over to the following week. No action is required.
Monthly Direct Debit Members
Your monthly fees will automatically adjust in your following payment. Again, no action is required.
📝 Planned Absences
There is no need to submit a Planned Absence Form if your child’s class falls on either of these closure dates,
as these sessions have already been accounted for.
We’d like to wish all of our gymnasts competing the very best of luck—we can’t wait to see you all in action!
🌞 Summer Camp This August
Our Summer Holiday Gymnastics Camp will be running throughout August, packed with gymnastics, games, activities and plenty of fun!
If you’re looking for something active to keep your child entertained over the holidays, we’d love to see them there.

📈 Assessment Month
Throughout July, we will be carrying out assessments across all eligible classes.
Assessments will take place in all classes except:
- Toddler Learn
- Toddler Independent
- Reception
Our aim is to have every eligible gymnast assessed by the end of July.
📈 Assessment results can be viewed through your HomePortal under the Competency section once they have been completed.
🏅 Certificates & Badges Week
Certificates and badges will be presented during classes from:
📅 Monday 6th July – Sunday 12th July 2026
📣 Please Check Your Child’s Name
Before certificate week, please take a moment to check that your child’s name is correctly spelt
on your Home portal.
Certificates are printed directly from our system, so we’d hate for anyone to receive a certificate with the wrong name.

🎓 Pre-School & Reception Transfer Reminder
As mentioned in our June Newsletter, families whose children are moving into a new school year are encouraged to complete their transfer request as early as possible.
This applies to children moving from:
➡️ Toddler Independent → Reception
➡️ Reception → Fundamentals
Transfer requests will begin being processed from Monday 13th July on a first-come, first-served basis.
Although September may seem a long way off, we strongly recommend transferring before the new school term begins.
Starting earlier allows children to:
- Become familiar with their new coaches.
- Settle into their new class.
- Build confidence.
- Make the transition into September much smoother.
Please note that the earliest transfer date into the new class will be from the week commencing Monday 20th July.
For those on the 12-block booking payment method, please ensure that you continue to top up your booking,
as we will not be able to transfer your child into the new class if they are not actively booked on.
👉 Complete the Transfer Form here.
☀️ Classes Continue Throughout the Summer Holidays
A reminder that Anima Gymnastics runs all year round, including throughout the summer holidays.
Unlike many activities that stop during school breaks, your regular gymnastics classes will continue as normal.
If your child is going away on holiday, please read the information below carefully.
✈️ Going Away This Summer?
We understand that many families travel during the holidays, which is why we operate our Planned Absence system.
This allows you to keep your child’s place while ensuring you don’t lose the value of sessions you’ve already paid for.
📅 12-Block Booking Members
If your child will miss classes over the summer:
- Continue topping up your booking when required to keep your child’s place.
- Submit a Planned Absence Form at least 7 days before any sessions they will miss.
- You can include multiple absence dates on a single form.
Once processed:
✅ Missed sessions become account credits.
✅ Credits remain safely on your account.
✅ Credits are automatically deducted from your next block booking top-up during checkout.
Alternatively, you may request replacement classes within 8 weeks of the planned absence date,
subject to availability.
Please remember:
Your booking continues counting down while you’re away.
If you’re absent for several weeks, you may still need to top up your booking to keep your child’s place secure.
Any planned absence credits will remain on your account and automatically reduce the cost of future bookings.
💳 Monthly Direct Debit Members
If you pay by Direct Debit:
- Your payments continue automatically as normal.
- Please still complete a Planned Absence Form for any sessions your child will miss.
Direct Debit members do not receive account credit for missed sessions.
Instead, approved planned absences allow you to request replacement classes, which must be used within 8 weeks of the planned absence date (subject to availability).

Please remember that if you choose not to top up your block booking or cancel your Direct Debit,
we cannot hold your child’s space, and it may be offered to another family.
You would then need to re-book through our website when you’re ready to return.

🤸 Floor & Vault Squad – Planned Absence/Replacement class Update
From July onwards, gymnasts in our Floor & Vault Squad will also be able to use the Planned Absence system for both of their weekly training sessions, provided the absence is submitted in line with our policy
(at least one week’s notice).
🏃 Floor & Vault Training Day
- Gymnasts assigned to the Monday Floor & Vault session may only attend a replacement on a Friday Floor & Vault session.
- Gymnasts assigned to the Friday Floor & Vault session may only attend a replacement on a Monday Floor & Vault session.
