At Anima Gymnastics Club in Barnet, we’re committed to delivering high-quality gymnastics coaching in a fun, safe and progressive environment.
From 1st January 2026, we will introduce an updated pricing structure across our programme.
We want to share clearly why these changes are happening and how they benefit our gymnasts and families moving forward.
Why Are Our Prices Changing?
We usually review pricing in April, in line with inflation and business costs. However, in 2025, we chose to pause any increase while we introduced our new booking and club management system.
After using it for several months and understanding its features, costs and benefits, we are now in a position to update pricing fairly and consistently across the programme.
What Has Influenced This Pricing Update?
1. Improved Systems & Operational Costs
Our new platform has enhanced the way families book sessions, manage absences and stay informed.
It also reduces administrative pressure for coaches — however, it carries subscription and processing costs that were not present under previous pricing.
2. Planned Absence Credit System
The new system allows parents to register absences in advance and automatically receive credit for classes within a block booking.
This flexibility wasn’t included in previous pricing structures, so fees have been adjusted fairly to support this feature.
3. Developing Class Pathway & Coaching Standards
Over time our programme has grown — including the launch of our Squad pathway — while other gymnasts enjoy recreational training once a week.
Updated pricing now reflects session duration, coaching requirements and delivery expectations at each stage of the pathway.
4. Aligning Pricing to Class Duration (Why Some Prices Rose / Some Fell)
We are moving towards a consistent hourly rate model, ensuring families pay proportionately for the length and intensity of the class.
Previously, shorter classes were priced proportionally higher per hour, while longer classes were priced lower despite requiring more resources.
This means:
- Toddler Advanced & Pre-School fees have decreased
- Novice and Novice/Intermediate/Advanced fees have increased
Longer sessions require:
• More space
• More equipment set-ups and management
• Higher-level technical coaching
• More technical planning and preparation
Bringing pricing in line with time spent in the gym ensures a fair, transparent and balanced system for all.
5. Direct Debit & Billing Changes
Up until now, pricing was based on 50 weeks per year, with the two-week Christmas break already built into the cost.
From January 2026, pricing will be based on 52 weeks per year, divided evenly across 12 months.
Going forward:
✔ Breaks will no longer be factored in upfront
✔ When there is a break (bank holiday or Christmas), the following month’s fee will be reduced automatically

New Twice-a-Week Training Option
Starting January, gymnasts in the Novice or Novice/Intermediate/Advanced classes may train twice per week under our new structure.
This replaces the previous 50% off second day offer.
- Twice-a-week fee: £150.00 per month (Direct Debit only)
This option is heavily subsidised, enabling more frequent training at the best value.
⚠ Planned absences are not included in the twice-weekly plan due to the reduced rate.
Squad Programme
Our squad gymnasts train more frequently, require advanced planning and coach support, and benefit from higher technical content.
Squad fees are also subsidised, so planned absences do not apply.
When Will These Changes Apply?
- Any blocks topped up before 1st January 2026 will be charged at the current rate
- New pricing applies from January 2026 onward
- Direct Debits update from 1st February 2026 (January remains unchanged)
