Welcome to our final newsletter of 2025 — and what a year it’s been!
We’re incredibly proud of all our gymnasts and grateful for the continued support from our Anima families.
Here’s everything you need to know for December!
📅 Club Closure Dates (December)
🏅Saturday 13th & Saturday 14th December 2025
Our Anima Winter Challenge Competition will be running this weekend for gymnasts who have entered.
Important: There will be NO normal classes on this weekend for all.
🎄Monday 22nd December – Sunday 4th January 2026
We will be closed for the Christmas Holidays & New Year.
Classes resume Monday 5th January 2026.
Payment Fee Adjustments
- If you have booked in 12-week blocks, your credit will roll over to the following week.
- If you have paid by Direct Debit, your fees will adjust automatically in the January month — no action needed.
💡 No Planned Absence form is required if your child’s classes fall with the club closure dates
— These sessions have already been deducted.
If your child will be away during the first week back of the term (from Monday 4th January)
Please make sure to complete the Planned Absence Form at least one week before the planned absence date.
Failure to do so will result in your child forfeiting the class!

🏅 Certificates & Badges Week
We will be giving out Certificate & Badges within the sessions from
Monday 15th December – Sunday 21st December 2025.
📣 Important!
Please double-check that your child’s name is correctly listed on your Anima account before this week,
to ensure their certificate is printed correctly. We don’t want anyone to be disappointed on the day!

📝 Assessment Results from November
Assessment results are now available to view via the HomePortal under the Competency section.
💡 Some phones don’t display results properly — try a laptop or tablet if needed.
👉 View your child’s progress via the HomePortal.
Important notes by class:
- Toddlers Advanced, Preschool & Reception:
No formal assessments — focus is on fun, movement & early learning! - Beginners (School Years 1–4):
Children who have passed will have receive an invitation to move up to Novice via email by the end of next week at latest. - Novice (School Years 1-4):
If your child is at minimum School years 4 and is ready to move up, you will receive an invitation via email by the end of next week at latest. - Novice / Intermediate / Advanced (School Years 4–11):
These groups are ability-based,
— Children may stay where they are or move to a group that better suits their level within the class.
🧤 Lost Property – Final Collection by Sunday 21st December 2025
Our lost property box (on top of the shoe rack) is overflowing!
Please check for missing items before Sunday 21st December
– After this date, unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.

We keep jewellery safely stored — drop us an email with a description to bookings@animagymnastics.co.uk
📞 Contact Details Update
Prior to your child’s return after Christmas, we kindly ask all parents/guardians to ensure their contact details
e.g. phone numbers, preferred name — are up to date on their Anima account.
– This helps us stay in touch should we need to reach you.
