👻 Wishing You a Spooktacular Halloween!🎃
We hope you’re enjoying the start of autumn!
Please take a moment to read through some important updates for October.
🗓️ October Half Term
A reminder that we run our normal classes all year round, including during the October half term.
Please note – we no longer run holiday camps.
📝 Planned Absence During Half Term
We understand there may be occasions when your child cannot attend their regular class due to holidays, family events, or other commitments. To support families in these situations, we offer a system which allows you to notify us in advance, when your child will miss a class.
Please remember:
- Planned Absences must be submitted at least 1 week in advance from the Planned absence date.
- This also applies to the October half term
– Please submit your absence request in good time if you know your child won’t be attending to avoid disappointment!

⏰ Topping Up Class Credits on Time – Applies to Block booking members only
If your child only has 1 class credit remaining, ensure you top up before the start of their final class in the block.
For example:
If your child’s last class in the block is on Tuesday at 5:00pm, you must top up before 5:00pm that day.
⚠️ If you attempt to top up after this time, our system will automatically remove your child from the register and you would then need to rebook manually via our website (subject to availability).
– You can check how many class credits your child has via the HomePortal under the Overview section.

✅ Assessment Results
Here’s a breakdown of who has been assessed so far:
Toddlers Advanced, Preschool & Reception – Do not get assessed – we encourage participation and fun learning!
Beginners (School Years 1–6) – all children who attended classes during September have all been assessed.
Novice class (School Years 1–4) – all groups have been assessed except for the Tuesday 5pm and Saturday 1.30pm class which will be completed by the end of next week at latest.
- If your child is ready to move up, you should have received an invite email from us
- If you haven’t received an email but would like to check your child’s progress
– You can view their results via the HomePortal under the Competency section.
Novice / Intermediate / Advanced (School Years 4–11) – Assessments are taking place this week.
- Parents will not receive an invite email, as the aim of these groups is to match children with similar abilities.
- You can still view your child’s assessment results via the HomePortal under the Competency section.
